Wide World of Horses, a True South Production, airs each week on RURAL TV. Now in its third year, this exciting weekly programme highlights the broad range of events, people, and of course, horses, that make up the contemporary western performance scene.

In its first year, Wide World of Horses received the prestigious Vaquero Media Award presented by the National Cowboy Hall of Fame & Western Heritage Museum and the National Reining Horse Association and most recently it has received the National Reining Breeders Classic Media Award for 2009.

Whether it's a behind-the-scenes look at an over-achieving equine, or a tip from a pro, or coverage of some of the most exciting, viewers will be entertained, motivated and inspired.

Wide World of Horses programmes have ranged from the original "Mustang Makeover" to events like the National Reining Breeders Classic, the Barrel Futurities of America World Championship Futurity, Speed Williams new Team Roping Tournament, and the events are endless. From reining every other week on the National Reining Horse Association's official programme, NRHA Inside Reining to the acclaimed "Oklahoma Series" and "Les Vogt's Equine Insights" it's the programme to watch.
